我们的目的

筹募 RM5.5M 购置北马佛法教育中心

我们的挑战

中心目前位于一座商业楼的三楼，面积仅 2,000 平方尺，却要容纳 97 名学员。学佛人数逐年快速增长，本院又推行终身学习制，学员从孩童到长者皆有。因没有电梯设备，许多长者已无法再攀爬楼梯前来上课。众生皆有学佛的因缘，我们需要一个更大的道场，来护持这份因缘。

我们计划在槟城闹区购置一栋 3,800 至 5,600 平方尺、三层楼或以上的商业大楼，筹募目标为 RM5,500,000。

观音殿：我们会设立庄严佛殿，方便举办法会与共修，接引大众亲近三宝、听闻佛法。

教室：增设多间教室，容纳更多儿童读经班、青少年班、青年班、广论研讨班及长青班学员，让不同年龄层都有安心学法的空间。

怡保教室：我们也计划购置目前怡保教室所在的产业，扩充空间、增设教室，让怡保地区有稳定长久的弘法共修与学习场所。

Our Goal

Raise RM5.5M to purchase a Dharma Education Centre for the North

Our challenge

The centre currently occupies the third floor of a commercial building : just 2,000 sq ft for 97 students. Enrolment grows quickly every year, and because we run a lifelong-learning system, students range from young children to the elderly. With no lift, many seniors can no longer climb the stairs to attend class. Everyone has the conditions to learn the Dharma; we need a larger centre to support them.

We plan to purchase a commercial building of 3,800 to 5,600 sq ft, three storeys or more, in central Penang. Fundraising target : RM5,500,000.

Guan Yin Hall. We will set up a dignified shrine hall for pujas and group practice, drawing the public closer to the Triple Gem and the Dharma.

Classrooms. More classrooms for the Children’s, Teens’, Youth, Lamrim and Seniors’ Classes, giving every age group a settled space to learn.

Ipoh classroom. We also plan to purchase the property that houses our Ipoh classroom and add more classrooms, giving the Ipoh community a stable, long-term place for Dharma practice and learning.
